Description: This project provides a mechanism for industry and state DOTs to complete field evaluations of mixtures and establish a system that converts the above work into actual specifications and practices. It will involve coordinating the results of projects 3 and 4 to include their results in the manuals (projects 1 and 2), as appropriate, and to identify and remedy gaps and overlaps. It will include planning and conducting a series of national and/or regional workshops to disseminate the results and provide technical training based on the manuals; and developing a series of technical bulletins. It will include developing a user-friendly website and electronic newsletter to provide updates, advertise training events, and disseminate the e-versions of the bulletins and manuals to a broad audience. The budget for this project will include travel funds to allow State DOTs to participate in the mixture program.
