DG Track 2:
Performance-Based Design Guide for New and Rehabilitated Concrete Pavements
Track Goal: Mechanistic-based concrete pavement designs will be reliable, economical, constructible, and maintainable throughout their design life and meet or exceed the multiple needs of the traveling public, taxpayers, and the owning highway agencies. The advanced technology developed under this track will increase concrete pavement reliability and durability (with fewer early failures and lane closures) and help develop cost effective pavement design and rehabilitation.
