What is the CP Road Map?
It's a 10-year strategic plan that outlines approximately $250 million in needed concrete pavement research that will help develop a comprehensive, integrated, and fully functional system of concrete pavement technologies.
What's happening now?
Planned upcoming activities will focus on enhancing communication among stakeholders. These activities include the following:
- Collecting and publishing information about States’ recent and current research.
- Summarizing recent national research for 10 or 12 “hot topics” and distributing the summaries as CP Road Map technical briefs.
- Publishing and distributing information about methods or processes whose benefits have been proven to improve concrete pavements through non-research field trial applications.
Who should you contact?
Paul Wiegand is the CP Road Map Program Manager. He can answer your questions. Contact him at 515-294-7082 or pwiegand@iastate.edu.
